My Dad died was created by lwhodge
I have been on the PDSA board for 7 years because my dad developed ITP at the age of 84.
He went through several treatments, but finally stablized pretty much after having
Rituxan. I think he took the series of treatments 3 or 4 times. He never was able to get off a small dose of
Prenisone, however. His platelet count never returned to normal,but was over 100 for the last 2 years or so. He was 91. I will miss him so much!
