My name in Japanese! was created by julia
Julia's Japanese name
"
_/
T
P

Julia is pronounced as:
shi i a

The appostraphies at the top of the tick are slightly different but i thought it was quite strange. It's on Facebook get your name translated into Japanese, if i got it tatoo'd on me it could act as a double meaning. :P

When we lived in Tokyo I had a stamp [hanko] with Melinda on it so I could sign the sumi-e paintings I painted. When we moved to Hong Kong I got a chop with our surname on it - in fact I think every friend & relative got a chop for Christmas that first year.

I love how the Japanese say my name - it is hard to write it but it is so pretty how they say it.

Here's a site that translates your name in to the katakana alphabet, which I think was what your name was translated into on the page you mentioned. Once translated you can then put your cursor over it to highlight it and save it.

Julia from this site says:
It is pronounced "JUURIA". (Consonants are pronounced more or less the same way as in English. "A" sounds like a in father, but shorter. "I" sounds like ee in meet, but shorter. "U" sounds like oo in hook, but with less rounding of the lips. Double vowels like "UU" are held for twice the duration of single vowels.)
