Hi Lindy. I just turned 51 this year. I was diagnosed in 2004. There are a lot of "older" people on here, more than I expected!
A count of 100 is great! There are a lot on here who would love to have a count like that. I was one of them until I did Rituxan this past Fall. Now my numbers are in the normal range. Most doctor's won't treat with a number like yours. Try not to worry too much. Your counts might not go down any further. I'm sure others will chime in, so keep reading and posting.
Lindy:
Your doctor is right, there isn't anything you can do to raise your count. However, a count of 100 is a very good, safe count. It's just a bit lower than normal and at this point, isn't anything to worry about. I know I can't easily convince you of that though.
What scares you? Maybe if you can tell us, we can help you past the fear.
