Well alot has happened in the last week! My count on May 3rd, was 8, with severe bruising and not feeling normal. Saw the hematolgist, and he admitted me directly to the hospital. They started IVIG, on May 4th, counts went to 22, and recieved second dose. On the morning of May 5th, counts were to 73. I developed a severe migraine with nausea. Probbaly the worst migraine I have ever gotten with IVIG. I went home later on the 5th, and the migraine lasted till Friday afternoon. They did a head CT, which was ok. Went back to work today, and had my labs drawn. Platelets are at the highest ever 276, yay for that, but now my hgb went from 11.5 to 8.5 and rbc at 3.15 and hct 25.4! I am wondering what caused the sudden drop on that end? I see the hematolgist today in a few hours. Any ideas of what could be going on?
