Odd it seems alot of different people that I have read about lately were diagnosed with ITP in "March" different years but alot of people have "March" in common my son being one of them March 1, 2006 then it reared it's ugly head again March 2,2009.

February 2010 here. Though not March, it is still a cold month!

Lol mine was diagnosed in March too, everything bad happens in March with us & family so we dread the month coming up now and im so glad to see the back of it!

I had bruises in June, but I was diagnosed in July.

September 2009 for me - although I had the bruises for about 2 months beforehand, making it around July that I probably could have been diagnosed.

For me it was the very end of March 09, but had symptoms all through that month!! Started with the "dots" LOL, the day after my son's 18th birthday, I like to blame it on the shock and stress of realizing I'm getting old, haha!

About six weeks after having a hysterectomy in April/04 I found 3 bruises on my belly in the same spots as I received shots in hospital. Saw dr., had blood tests was told my platelets were low and had another blood test done. I guess formal diagnosis was June of /04.

My son's diagnosis was Jan. 18, 2002. For the first 5 years he would crash in January (we hate that month!). Close to February...

Hi,
I was diagnosed originally February 2003 went on steriods, weaned myself off went into remission, then December 2008 went down to a count of 4 been on steriods since!! Winter is my bad month!!

Caitlin's date of diagnosis was also in March..March 2, 2007. Sometimes I think it goes hand in hand with allergy season. She's always at her lowest in the fall and spring. Highest in the summers.

I was diagnosed in April 2006 but I know for sure that I had a very low count in December 2005 and suspect even earlier.

I was diagnosed March 19, 2010. Now that I look back, I was having symptoms as far back as the End of July, but I just blamed everything on the pregnancy!

Formal diagnosis - September 2008.
First recorded low count was in June '07, though. Summer seems to bring my worst counts.
