New drug for heavy periods - Lysteda was created by alaventure

Hello Ladies -

Has anyone out there heard anything about this new drug called Lysteda that is used to help manage heavy periods? I saw TV commercials for it the other day and then looked it up online ( www.drugs.com/lysteda.html ). I'm going to ask my GYN and Hema about it but didn't know if anyone out there in the forum has heard about it and knows if it would work with ITP.
