Hey, I didn't really know where to post this. I have 4 kids. I have 2 older than Bryan (my young ITPer) and one younger. I woke up in the middle of the night with Bryan, Shoot my water broke!! I was soaked..I woke up daddy and went into bathroom..It was BLOOD, all blood!! I sat on toilet and it was just red..My sister came take care of kids says looked like murder scene!! Ok so I get to hospital, still bleeding they do what they need. Mid-wife says calling Dr, I ask if everything ok, she says well I am callin Dr not takin you to surgery so lets see what he says..fast forward this a long story. I sign things for transfusions they are all concerned..Bryan is born!! They take him immediately never put him on my chest never even told me he is a boy ( no i didn't know, I liked the surprise)..They needed to do whatever because of all the blood he inhaled during delivery. So mom and baby are fine..Now I had another baby after him, no problems. I asked when found out pregnant what happened they had no idea, thought maybe because labor was so fast said happens sometimes. Now Bryan the ONLY one I had this problem with has ITP...Over 2 years he has had it, I have mentioned it to people, no one feels it is related. It might not be..They take blood in hospital so I assume I didn't have ITP or anything. Isn't it strange he only one I bleed severely with or am I over thinking AGAIN??
