itp and pregnant was created by starmar
I am 16 weeks pregnant and just been told i have itp. i had first counts of 55 but managed to get down to 25. Two weeks later i was pleased to be up over 100. I have since been experiencing almost daily headaches has anyone had experience inN this area as the docs over here in new Zealand can not explain what has just happened or why. Any insight would be good

Hello Stacey. Glad you found this site. Did your counts just jump around so much on their own or are you on some sort of treatment, you didnt' mention any in your post. I can only suggest to read, read and read some more. There is an abundance of info on this site.
See ya around. :)

Stacey there is a pregnancy section but to be honest with you I'm not sure how much is it used/looked at.

If I were you I'd put my questions in the General ITP Discussion or Newly Diagnosed section.

My ITP came well after pregnancies so I can't help you - but I'm sure there is someone who can answer your questions.

My best to you and that precious life growing with you!
