Hello,

I bought such a bracelet only a few days ago. Is it ok to post commercial links here?

If not just ask "Mr. Google" for IDonMe. Thats the one I have, and its not very expensive...

Look forward,

Mine is right from Medic Alert. Mine was under 100. I'm looking to upgrade to the watch, but that is expensive, so it will be a while.

Hi! I ordered mine from www.stickyj.com There are some choices on that website where you can order the plate & have that engraved with the needed info. Then you order the bracelet separately. This way, you can change out the bracelets to go with different outfits or whatnot. I'm into beading and jewelry making, so I was able to make some of my own bracelets and take my mind off of my recent ITP diagnosis.

Hope this helps!
Amy

Hi Kay, until you get a medical alert bracelet, you might search on free medical alert card. Some sites let you fill it out on your computer and print out the card to carry in your wallet, and it doesn't cost you anything. I found several nice sites but I also know that my local Walgreens pharmacy has them under $50. Hope these suggestions help.

This site has a few links under the resources section www.pdsa.org/resources/links-to-other-web-sites/61-medical-id-braceletscharms.html

I use the medical alert bracelet charm with the 800 number so I can keep my doctor information and drugs on file with them. However, I had jump rings added by a jewelry repair shop and then use various bracelets so I can be casual, dressy, switch from gold, silver, beads or leather based on what I feel like that day. I like www.N-StyleID.com for my bracelets.

I agree there is a big market for medical alert jewelry. Too expensive for me, so I bought just the tag and had it engraved and shipped. When it gets here, I'm going to get the materials I want from a crafts store and either try to make the bracelet myself or have a crafty friend do it for me. Hope this helps.
