I have recntly joined .with comments of despair.this set of lyrics describes what I go/gone/going through.which has ended up whith my wife asking for a separation.

Comes a time when the blind-man takes your hand, says "Don't you see?
Gotta make it somehow on the dreams you still believe."
Don't give it up, you got an empty cup only love can fill,
only love can fill.

Been walking all morning went walking all night
I can`t see much difference between the dark and light
And I feel the wind And I taste the rain
Never in my mind to cause so much pain.

Comes a time when the blind-man takes your hand, says "Don't you see?
Gotta make it somehow on the the dreams you still believe."
Don't give it up, you got an empty cup only love can fill,
only love can fill.

From day to day just letting it ride.
You get so far away from how it feels inside.
You can't let go cause you're afraid to fall,
But the day may come when you can't feel at all.

The words come out like an angry stream.
You hear yourself say things you could never mean.
When you cool down you find your mind.
You got a lot of words you've got to stand behind.

Comes a time when the blind-man takes your hand, says "Don't you see?
Gotta make it somehow on the dreams you still believe."
Don't give it up, you got an empty cup only love can fill,
only love can fill, only love can fill, only love can fill.

Steve,

I am so sorry to hear about your situation. It is a shame that ITP has a caused a rift between you and your wife. This is a very stressful disorder, especially on us (the patients). Sometimes we forget that it may be stressful on those close to us as well. It's a shame that your wife is leaving you in this vulnerable situation, a time when she should be supporting you the most. I don't really have anything to say that would make your situation better. I wish I did. Just know that we support you and we are here for you. It seems like you are in a dark place. Know that it will get better with time. I know that you hear that a lot, but it is true, take if from someone who has been there. Best of luck and remember that you can always turn to us.

Natalie
