I know this is a long shot, but does anyone here take Lamictal for Bipolar disorder? If you do, were you asked to stop when diagnosed with ITP? Did they think there was a correlation between the two? And were you able to continue taking Lamictal despite the ITP diagnoses? Were you able to take it with Prednisone, and if so did that present any issues?

Like I said.. I know it's a long shot, but knowledge is power and I'm desperate for some answers!

*Just an additional note- I feel like my life is falling apart around me, and I'm begining to think it's not the ITP that's to blame. I was taken off my my bipolar medication in February and my life is falling apart! It's so hard to be patient with doctors and wait for tests, and call backs.... when they can't possibly understand what it's like to live like this. Today a receptionist was rude to me at the dr's office. My hematologist asked me to call him this week, and the receptionist was curt and had a bad attitude. Arghh!!!! I twiddle my thumbs waiting for calls but damn! I just want my medicine back... :(
