I know it might seem AWKARD.
I fed a street dog and he licked my hand in return. He didn't bite my hand at all and he was behaving nice (LOL) but after (and even before he licked my hand) I noticed a red scratch on my skin and I could see a red line on my hand! I can say It wasn't bleeding ....
I'm going to have a rabies vaccine tomorrow. I have found little evidence about itp and rabies vaccine, but all are about itp mediated bt rabies vaccine.
Now, given that I must have this vaccine shot, what precautions I should take? I should also add that last year while I was on steroids I got Meningitis shot with no problem at all.

Why not ask your hematologist? I always check with my hematologist before taking something I'm not sure of.
I think he/she should have some answers for you.

What did your hematologist say? I'm asking because I was just bit by a stranger's dog.

Hello!
Sorry for answering late!
I visited my hema on street, I came across to him and he told me that it's ok to have it!
It did not cause any major impact. I just recall I had to increase my Nplate dose 2-3%. I'm not sure if it was due to the vaccine or not, but I just did it and feel better now.
I hope you have had your vaccine by now? Because rabies is a serious disease as you know.
