I would check with my hematologist.
I've not had cataract surgery yet but when the time comes I will get it!

There is no blood involved in cataract surgery I’m the lead surgery coordinator for an ophthalmologist he specializes in cataract surgery we don’t even have people stop blood thinners etc.

You can get bleeding of the vessels by the retina although it's rare. I'd want a decent count for it but 66 is probably okay. The haematologist could advise.

If everything went well, it would be ok.
My husband ended up with a detached retina and hemorrhaging.
