Out of remission?

Out of remission? was created by McHeidi
I have had ITP and a qualitative platlet disorder for 31 years. I had been in an extended remission for many years. Lately, I have noticed clustering petechiae around my ankles, which are now spreading almost to my knees. I feel great, not exhausted. I have not seen a hematologist in years as I was not having any issues. Should I be concerned? I had a CBC about 2 months ago and it was normal.

Don't think we can tell if you should be concerned or not - but my motto is: When in doubt check it out.
Can't hurt for you to get CBC done, ask your PCP - then you will know for sure one way or the other.
I do hope all is well!

I agree. The only way to know is to have a CBC. I'd call your GP and go from there.

i believe this person knows what to do but a bad test result scares them so much they are looking for someone to tell them ..." nothing to worry about... no need to test..." . i was like that too.
