tapering and missed dosage or took more or less or not sure......

when you were tapering have you ever taken more than you should ? or found out the next day you took less than you should or forgot all together.
how did you handle that?


what did you do if you are not sure you took your dosage?

It would depend on the size of the dose. If it was high & thought I'd forgotten I'd take half the dose. I got so fed up with remembering what dose I was supposed to be taking I printed out a spread sheet and crossed off each day when I took the pills

I'd just start taking the correct dose as soon as possible. Just pick up where you left off since you're not sure. Taking a higher dose once won't hurt. A missed dose would probably cause withdrawal side effects. I always knew when it was time for my dose; my heart would start pounding.

I bought one of those 7 day pill reminders - a small plastic box that has 7 partitions in it. I refill it at the beginning of the week.
If your doing a two day or three day split, then a calendar print out and daily cross off works well and mrsb describes.
