Nah.. I hadn't taken it in a while and just started again when I got my last count. I'm supposed to take it as long as counts are over 50k, but I get lax.

well got my appointment with the rheumatologist switched from May to march 23rd. all results are in no need to wait until May.

checked count today 273 up 20 from 253. was 293 then i was worried it was getting to high then it went down to 253 then i was worried i was falling to fast-drop of 40- now 273. my count is very dependent on extra protein. 2 scoops of protein gives me 260 or higher one scoop 240-250. no extra protein around 220-230.

Johnmerrick my hematologist would consider your counts of 273, 253, 293 all the same.

well i saw the rheumatologist. she said she is 80% sure i have lupus- i thought she would say that.i told her i had another doctor lined up just to see what he said. she said there were two columns and you have to have 4 things in total and at least one from each column to say that you have lupus i have 3. i do not want to start taking Plaquenil until i talk to the other doctor and have 4 things not 3.

just checked my CBC my count is 281 which is good but my hemoglobin just tanked a month ago it was 134 now 125 i lost 9 points in a month. could be the lupus?

re did my blood work hemo is 133 so all is good. found out your hemo can vary throughout the day. platelet count 303.
also saw other rheumatologist he said i have lupus. i have Plaquenil but i'm not going to take it yet cause i still am not convinced i have lupus i'd like to see one more piece of evidence that i have before i take this drug for the rest of my life.
