I have been living with Itp for almost 7 years now..... recently I was in a car accident and bruised my face very badly. My question is has anybody else gotten a bruise so bad that it left a scar like bruise? My eyes are still black after 10 weeks

I had a bad bruise on my shin when I was diagnosed. It has taken almost 3 years to disappear

I developed a bruise on the back of my calf once. Count was 5 I think at the time. I stopped all activity and placed ice on it. It was massive by time it was done growing. Then took me months to start to go away. At one point most of it was gone but I had what looked like a crescent moon. I actually had someone ask if it was a tattoo I explained no it was the left over a bruise. I think it was close to 5-6 months before it was completely gone.
