After 28 years I relasped was created by Itpsucks28
I was diganoisis at 2 1/2 years old and had ha itp untill I was 3 and im 31 almost 32 and I found out last night relasped
My platelet count was less then 6 and I have been admitted to the hospital I notice bruises for no reasons and petechiae so I called my doctor who order a CBC and a bunch of other blood work I never had and the nurse called me a hour later telling me my platelets are less then 6 to get to the hospital now

I got two platelet transfusions and my platelets went from less 6 to 11 then to 10 and stayed I 10 so they gave me 5 bottles of Ivig and predonoise every few hours

Hopefully, they won't give you any more platelet transfusions. They are contraindicated unless there is serious bleeding. I hope the IVIG and steroids work to get your counts up.

If within a month you donot respond then start with nplate rand if that does not help you do promacta.

I wasted 3 months of horrible prednisone and 2 hospital visits to finally have nplate.
