ANYONE on board with DIABETES and ITP -hyperglycem was created by Mom2
Son has ITP and type one diabetes he is 14 yo did 6 weeks taper with prednisone that was finished a few weeks ago because he had a nosebleed and counts less tha 20 and fatigue. Now he just déxamethasone yesterday and blood sugars are even more out of control. Any one this advice or experience? Any help,appreciated and Thank you in advance!

There are treatments other than steroids that will not affect blood sugar levels. I'd ask the doctors about that.
