How are your platelet counts? was created by yxalluffo-7360@yopmail.com
My platelets will drop to less than 10. I get treated with Nplate until my platelets stay between 60 to 120 on their own. The will stay in that range for about 2 years and then they will drop to less than 10 again. That has happened 3 times in the last 10 years.

Are other stories similar or are most others different?

Hey yxalluffo
Once I got settled taking Rituxan, my numbers went from 2 to the 200's. That lasted 4.5 years. Then I crashed to 11k. I had Rituxan again and my numbers were normal for 3.5 years. My platelets crashed to 11 again. I took 6 weeks of Prednesone which brought me back to normal last December. Last time I checked, in April the count was 108 k. It has also been 10 years for me since the beginning. So I guess we are similar!

I did take Rituxan the first time I was diagnosed. If I have another drop, I will ask about taking that again.

Thanks
