No, it can't cause them, but other bleeding or clotting disorders can occur in conjunction with ITP.

Thanks Sandi! I had about 7 unexplained bruises show up this week and some bleeding of the gums called hemo and had cbc but platelets were at 95 so he thinks it's something else so they ran more blood test said it would take about 2wks to get results

Sometimes platelet function can be affected. That could cause symptoms.

Have you been taking any new supplements or meds?
