I have been between 1-8k the past several weeks. Started Rituxan for the 3rd time last Thr. I responded pretty good the first two times, so hoping third time is a charm. Once a week for 4 weeks. Count last week was 1k, so Dexamethsone was given along with Platelets. Count on Sat was 19k. Today they were 8k. Had IVIG and platelets today. This crap really wearing me out. It is getting hard to keep track of what I have had done.

Rituxan takes time, Dean. Hang in there. You've been here before; this is old hat for you. Hopefully in a few weeks, you'll be back to normal.

It sure can be frustrating! But, since you responded before it seems very likely you will get a good result again.......it just takes some time.

Apparently IVIG is a two day treatment. They did not tell me that yesterday. So sitting for another 5-6 hrs. Could have left the IV in. Getting a little tired of needles. The benadryl IV really kicks in fast!!

IVIG can be given over 1 to 5 days. Depends on the Dr.

I hope so too, Dean. You have a pretty good track record with Rituxan.
