Anyone problems with liver hemangioma was created by ashybobashy
Ok, so after complaining for like a year, I got an abdominal scan which found a liver hemangioma which measures 5cm. It was just a general scan which saw something they are near certain is a hemangioma. Doctor said that it wouldn't cause symptoms and I have to go for ct to ensure it's just an hemangioma. My platelts are fine at 216 but I do get one or two dots if I itch sometimes. I know I got a scan previously two years ago and they never mentioned this which means it started in the last two years. I'm just anxious because I don't know if this is related to my symptoms. The new scan didn't say where exactly abouts near the liver it is. I've had lots of symptoms like higher heart rate, anxiety back pain that goes away when I sit, tightness around rib cage, unable to push out stomach freely, I just want to see if this is related to platelets. The doc says anyone can have them and I shoud not be concerned. I've been sent to a liver specialist but cos I have felt so tired and bloated I feel it must be somehow related. It all started off with dizziness. Any help would be appreciated.

Ash - if anything, it could be the other way around. A platelet problem would probably not cause an hemangioma, but some liver problems can cause low platelets, depending on what it is.

I hope the CT comes out good! Let us know.
