I'm getting 85000 mg a week but it doesn't hold the whole week I split it in two days cause it's easier to take that way. Does anyone know how much dosage they get of this stuff? Just curious

It's a normal, since ivig can boost your no. of platelets in a short period of time, but only last for a week/ less than a week.

The dose of IVIG depends on the weight of patient, e.g. my weight is 8x kg, the doctor calculated the dose should be 2,750 ml/ 33g of ivig. My ivig treatment always spread into 5 days, each day will infuse 550ml of ivig, the duration is 6-8 hrs per day.

Thank you very much for your wishes.

I've infused 8 times ivig in last two years. My doc said that it was the best practice to spread the infusion of ivig into couple of days, rather than finish it within 48 hours.

IVIG can boost my platelets count within few days, also drop dramatically after few days.

That's why I need other medicines to compress the attack of the system and produce more platelets for the system attack, but it takes time.

Oh gotcha I thought you meant you get ivig 5 times a week 6-8 hours. Ivig is a great emergency medicine it's just to bad it doesn't last longer I get it three times a week right now for about 2-3 hours a day

IVIG didn't last for longer is the truth but another problem was the price of ivig. For me, each treatment would cost HKD 110,000/ USD 14,XXX. Fortunately, this expense was paid by Hong Kong Government
