I've fought the good fight. But after nearly 8 years I must say goodbye to my spleen.

I've stopped responding to treatment. With the boys I'm at my last option. I'm sad but hing this will work n

Splenectomy is scheduled for next friday. I tried Promatca to hold me over, I had a reaction and had to discontinue the med after 3 weeks. Got my first N Plate injection yesterday. IVIG friday. My platelets have dropped down to single digits again. Im really hoping this works, spending 2 days every other week getting IVIG is hard.
