No needles, thank goodness. She is a dietitian. Lots of illness, though, and not just HIV. Her patients have everything you can imagine. Her hema is well aware of where Ellen works, but has had many patients in other health care settings and doesn't think it is a major factor. It scares me though. Ellen has developed two MRSA infections - one lung and one sinus - in five years working there. This is a calling for her, so there is no talking her out of it!

Re dex, see my new thread. It looks like dex may be a factor with low dose Rituxan, but I can't be sure.

I saw the new thread but didn't read the articles yet. I've been on here an hour and a half already and need to do some other things.

I (duh) didn't think about the other illnesses that the patients would have. Of course the immuno-deficient would carry other viruses and infections. Those could be easily transmitted. I hope she wears a mask! MRSA is scary enough without being immuno-suppressed.
