So I called for a count today the nurse put me on hold. My phone reception wasn't the greatest as I was walking on an indoor track. She comes back and proceeds to tell me my count!

300 and something! I've never heard a number that high before it caught me completely by surprise. I was like what?? totally drew a blank! In all my years of having ITP I've responded immediately to treatment getting counts over 100, but never this high.

So my count was 3 something 5 not sure if she said 305 or 325 or 375 doesn't matter it is my highest count ever! I will probably call my family doctor just to confirm the number. Talk about shock!!

Well this happy camper is now going to get ready for work! Have a great one all!

Awesome count, Julia! Was this after a treatment or on its own?

This count was taken about 1 1/2 weeks after my treatment of Winrho SDF 3,000mcg was the dose.

Just one small issue this time normally after the treatment I have the blood in the urine sometime around the 24hr mark. This time that wasn't so prominent but I noticed an issue with my kidneys. They didn't seem to be working properly I didn't seem to be producing enough urine. Than somewhere between the 48-72hr mark it is like my kidney's all of a sudden started working.

I have the product monograph to read so far I have read nothing that gives a warning on the kidneys.

Yes I am doing the happy dance! I may even get the flu shot at work since my counts are way up there!

Julia

Wow, that is such great news! Enjoy your good counts, maybe since the response was so great you will have a very good long time before having to treat again.
