This chart was hanging on the wall in my hematologists office. I thought it was cute and useful. My hematologist still didn't think ITP should cause fatigue but she did acknowledge and explain to a trainee that it's common for patients with low platelets to complain of fatigue.

I had around a year and a half maybe two+ years (it's all a blur) as a 6-7 . Now I'm regularly around 2-3 with the occasional 6.

Like it. Having worked nights for almost 20 yrs, I get a double whammy from not enough sleep and ITP.

this is cute. I live in the severe range. I nap, at a minimum 5 out of 7 days. I go to work everyday I'm scheduled but I have only been working less than 20hrs a week for months now. I even nap on my days off! My motto is....I ready for my nap tomorrow! It really is getting old.

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

When I was first diagnosed, I was definitely at a 1. I felt fine. When I got put on prednisone, I was definitely at a 6-7. Now, I'm back down to around a 1 or 2 most days.

Diagnosed: August 2013, lowest count 2k.
Treatments: IVIG, Prednisone, transfusions.
Current Count: 233k, 12/23/2013.
Currently: Watching/waiting.

I have always wondered about my fatigue as related to ITP. My Hemoc also said not related. I don't believe it though. I know my body. I really can't tell the difference in level of fatigue when my count is 97 or when it's 25.
