Blood work walked off and 2nd N-plate was created by amberyard
Went for blood work yesterday and come to find out it had legs and walked off. So the lab can not find my blood (WHAT)! I had a oncologist appointment today at 1pm, since I got approved for 100% charity program I can get the blood done in the office. Now it is one stop blood/N-Plate.

Last week count was 14K and this week is 24K. Got my second injection today, he upped the dose since the counts didn't go up that much.

So far I just have a nasty headache, will be taking Tylenol soon...

Oh man, I feel kinda bad for whichever patient possibly ended up with your CBC results.

Should we start the countdown for that person coming here and writing a "OMG MY PLATELETS ARE AT 24?!" post? ;)

Blood work from Wednesday just walked back into the lab, 17K then, Thursday 24K and last week 14K. So I guess N-Plate is starting to work?

Had a CBC with counts of 30K yesterday last week 17K & 23K. Last injection was 3mcg yesterday he upped me to 4mcg. It hurt a little and of course had insomnia and some leg pain just hoping I don't end up with a headache like the last injections. But it is going up and that is what matters.

Last week counts 30k with 4mcg/kg of N-Plate, this week 35k with 5mcg/kg. Of course an instant headache!! Now trying to make myself some lunch and take an Tylenol.. Cheno is sitting in my lab to help with the pain....

Aww you have to love the dogs such therapeutic beings. The past two injections for me I have been feeling achy and can't sleep. It seems like the symptoms vary each time. I still think the pros of Nplate outweigh the cons since I was at 4 before starting it.

I'm also starting to see the symptoms are different each time. I normally have an headache and insomnia but sometimes joint pain... It changes day to day...
