It's been a while. I just had baby boy #2 in October. Since then my counts have been low. Really low. I've avoided treatment since I'm nursing. I've come to the decision that I cannot safely go on with counts of 11. I'm now getting migraines with stroke like symptoms and they worry about a bleed.

So I guess my question is which is easier? The injection or the pills? No late or the other one. I've never considered these so I'm at a loss of which to try. I'm leaning towards the injection since in horrible with remember daily meds.

Congratulations on baby #2, Jennifer! Can't help with your questions as I haven't had to treat since I did the Rituxan 3 years ago.

Injection or pills would depend on type of medication.

My treatment of choice would be rituxan gave me long remission but when I'm really low and need a fast fix I use Winrho they start an IV takes less than 1/2 hr and within 24-48hrs i'm way up in the safe range!

Hey Jennifer! Congrats on the baby!

There are a lot of posts on the pros and cons of both N-Plate and Promacta. You'd have to weed through them.

I've decided to wait until October to start n Plate. I enjoy nursing too much. So for the time being I will do IVIG and steroids as needed right now.

Thanks here is Logan not bad for a 33 weeker huh?
