Last week 52K this week 14K. I'm on 75mg of Promacta?? Still waiting on doctors office to call me back. I'm sure he will want me to go to the ER. Yeah I'm not going some people have to work for a living. I will due DEX but still waiting.

Amber do you have symptoms? You say your count is falling but what are your symptoms like?

If i'm correct you haven't been on it very long and from what I've read you need to be on it for a while right?

Just remember it is your body and your choice and your doctor is just your advisor. Don't put yourself in danger but if your counts are low but you have no symptoms than maybe it can wait a few days or bit longer. If your covered in symptoms than maybe it can't!

Been on Promacta going on 2 months. I feel like I'm getting an URI, coughing, ears hurt and nose keeps running. I do have some bruise and more tired than normal.

didn't realize it was 2 months! that is a while.

URI's they suck (sorry for language). I hope you feel better soon.


Being that is what i've got right now been working overtime and i'm so exhausted all I do is sleep when i'm not working. (thank goodness it is just me in my house)



Maybe your platelets will go back up when your feeling better! here's hoping!

Last week 14k had my first N-Plate and about to leave to get an CBC. Will find out the numbers tomorrow and re check to see if I get another injection.

This weeks labs, well the lab lost Wednesdays but found them today 17K, Thursday 24K had another injection of N-Plate yesterday. He upped it from 2mcg to 3mcg

Hang in there! I think I have said this before but I was up to 5 mcg before my numbers rose above 24.
