Yes.... I used it for 3 years quite successfully.

Many of us have already replied to you about Revolade/Promacta in your other posts. It is called 'Promacta' in the USA and 'Revolade' in other places. I honestly do not believe you will experience much change in only two weeks.
When I started Promacta/Revolade, not much changed at all in the first 7 weeks. Everyone is different. Revolade/Promacta is a wonderful drug, but it is normally not a quick fix like some other drugs used for ITP. It is designed to be used as a long-term maintenance drug.

If you would simply go to GlaxoSmithKline's website and read their information, you would learn much about it.

At the risk of repeating myself, I'll ask for like the fourth time; have you tried 'Dexamethasone' (Decadron) as an alternative to hospitalization and IVIG? That is one drug which gives a good platelet count boost in just 2-4 days for many people. It's an inexpensive steroid. Great for a 'rescue' treatment as an alternative to IVIG. I've never had to do IVIG, because I use Dex for a quick boost when I need one.
Dexamethasone is also used sometimes to kick-start Revolade treatment.
