Ok so my doctor left the practice he was in and moved to another country, I got stuck with another doctor that I could not stand so I switched to another practice that could not get my n plate so now I am finally seeing a new dr tomorrow and fingers crossed because I have been without my n plate for two weeks now and am covered in peteciae. It's so frustrating when doctors offices don't understand the severity that if we don't get our medicine we will end up in the hospital and we have lives too ok I'm done thanks for reading lol

Hey we all have to vent sometimes with this crazy little thing called ItP. Just keep calling around until you get in somewhere. I was off Nplate for 2 weeks a few weeks ago ( my doc thought it was ok since I was at 151) well huge mistake I was at 4 by the next week. We nplaters need our weekly fix! Are you feeling ok? I was so fatigued and achy that week of 4. Hope you feel better than I did!

Finally got into doctor Friday I was down to three, I got 2 micrograms per kilo of nplate and I am covered in Petechiae still and I moved this weekend. So I am hoping this nplate kicks in soon and sandy no more clotting issues since 2010 my drs will only give me 1 or 2 mics in fear that will happen again, the ony other thing that works for me is Ivig but it only lasts a week so I keep that for absolute emergencys thanks for letting me vent everyone
Ps I love my new doc

My doctor said Nplate could take 7-10 days to kick back in so be patient and feel better!

I completely understand about finding a right doctor. Vent away is that what site's like this are for? Well at least we understand your need for venting!

Question this N-plate is it an injection or pill?
