GAH! I lost another hematologist. was created by plopper
It figures. Last year when my counts dropped, I was between hematologists, and so by the time I got in, my counts were the lowest they'd ever been and we had quite a time getting them up. Well, don't you know, I'm starting to see the famous red dots and weird blue bruises and so I called to get in hopefully before they tank, and the receptionist told me my hema left in March! And I didn't even get a letter.

I'm so disappointed. She gave me three drs who are taking patients - none of which I knew, so I just asked her to set me up with the one who is most like my old hema. After doing some research - hey, they both wear bowties. Also, I've seen this dr in the halls and he's always got a smile on his face, so that's something anyway.

This makes 4 different hemas in 2 years.

Yuck! I'm so sorry.

I hate starting over with new doctors. Yes they can read your chart to play catch-up, but it's never the same! You develop a relationship with your doctor and after awhile you just fall into a groove, y'know?

I hope you like your new Bow Tie Guy (rhyme intended)!

That is so hard to start over. The relationship with my doctor is one thing I count on, I trust her to get me through this stuff.

I'd definitely go with the smile and bow tie too!
