Heart failure and ITP was created by my3angels
So my mom has full blow ITP and she is having heart failure she is going to need a new heart but, in the meantime they are going to put an LVAD in her to pump her heart for her. So the docs never did this LVAD on an ITP patient before. So has any one had this done before and how are doing??

I don't recall anyone here having that particular procedure, but with any surgery, an ITP patient needs to get counts up first.

What treatments has she tried and does she respond to anything?

If they are up, she can probably have the surgery. Good luck!
