I was just given a prescription for Cymbalta, 30 mg once a day. I have ITP and AIHA and was wondering if anyone else has used cymbalta! I was on celexa and it doesn't work well for me. But I am a little nervous about this one. Any info would be great!

I took it once and it was too strong of a drug. I sat around like a person in a coma. That was only after one pill. I guess maybe a person can get used to it, but I didn't have time to let that happen. Some people do well with it.

Hi,
I have ITP and AIHA also. I was prescribed cymbalta for fibromyalgia. I tried it for 2 weeks, but it made me feel kind of spaced out and lethargic. I could not get used to it and gave up after 2 wks. I do have a friend who is doing very well on it. She has rheumatoid arthritis as well as some other health problems.
