Hi Josh and welcome,
I'm fairly new to this board since it hasn't been quite a year since I was diagnosed. I am coming up on a year next month. I've often wondered the ones who have have had ITP for many years how their ITP has been. How often do you get treated? Have you been in remission many years? Do you mind sharing? As of right now for me I have tried Prednisone and Rituxan. I finished my Rituxan treatments last April and so far my platelets have been normal ever since. My internist was the one that found the ITP and she keeps mentioning that she hopes this is only a one time thing. (yeah don't we all hope for this). Don't we all wish this would just go away?

Hi Josh, my name is Pascale and it's my firt time on a forum (I'm totally new technologies' has been...) and I'm French...I answer you because I had ITP since I'm 2 and half, and I'm now 46. I'd like to share experience of treatments, life with ITP and so on, with you, as we have almost the same number of years with ITP. The website is fabulous, full with so precious informations and stories, a great help.

Hi Josh!

Hope all is going well for you.

You (and Pascale) are going to have to tell us more about your story! I'd love to know how often you monitor your ITP, if you're in remission, what treatments worked over the years, DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR SPLEEN?!?!?! lol
