Should I try rituxan again? was created by KaraP
I don't know if it's even an option but I was wondering if any one else had no response to rituxan and tried again. My last dose was back in august. Since then I have had to have monthly ivig treatments to keep my platelets above 30. My hemo has me go a month now between Labs but by then I am down in the teens and bruising. I have also started to have reactions to the ivig. Blood pressure rises and all over aches and pains. So I am looking for alternatives. I haven't been here in ages, I hope you are all well.

I think I would opt to try a different treatment, not re-try one that didn't work the first time. Especially Rituxan which is a big time commitment, somewhat toxic, and extremely expensive.
