So my itp is back had it as a kid middle of nov it was back had an ivig treatment and my platelets went from 20000 to 260000 great in the first week they were down to 96000 then 47000 then 40000 and this week thry are 52000 not sure what this means since they rose by themselves advice please

There is no explanation other than if counts can go down, they can also go up. It doesn't mean much, probably just that there were less antibodies destroying platelets or better platelet production that day. Counts fluctuate constantly, and can rise as easily as they can drop.

On the flip side it could mean your stablizing in a safe range for a while. I won't worry until you have to. I held at 50-60K for 15 years before I had to treat.

Well, IVIG is usually just a temporary solution, so drops are almost bound to happen. There are treatments that can lead to remission.
