New Hemo I saw at a big University Hospital said to eat fresh pineapple daily to increase counts....any thoughts?

My thought is yum but maybe expensive. Also, won't hurt but probably won't help. Ask him for a citation (yeah right).

Hmmmm, pineapple is the only food that I think affects my son's count - and its not in a positive way. But it tastes lovely!

Thought I might find something positive, but I didn't. Pineapple juice was a craze here years ago. It never did much for anyone.
