My son Aaron had Rituxan at the age of 8 but had absolutely no response. He is now almost 17 and had been remission for 5 years and this last year he came out of remission. IVIG only one week and absolutely no response to prednisone. His current normal for the last month has been 1K. We did one Rituxan treatment last Friday. We went to see the homeopath and found that he had been given a remedy right before he came up and started his remission (how I forgot that I don't know); so we are starting with homeopathic remedy and trying to decide if there is much a possibility that Rituxan would work. Not having much hope but at the same time, can't always give up hope either. I am comfortable with homeopathy but living at 1K is not comfortable as a parent.

If anyone has had any experience, please let me know positive and negative responses.

Thank you, Peg Stirling (mother to Aaron, age 16)
