  • Diagnosed with ITP on 10/24, 2010. Platelets at 1,000. After many transfusions, a round of Predisone, IVIG, Dexa, and 4 weeks of Rituxan, I am finally staying above 100,000. Still in the 100s nine years later. Yay!

Did anyone see this story on the Today Show Thanksgiving morning? First time I have ever seen a national story on ITP in US.

Thank you for pointing out the story - I enjoyed watching the video and hearing her sing, she is a talented young girl.

It is nice that an ITP story has made national news of course - but the only reason is because she can sing. I wish her well and hope her remission is lasting!

Yes, I saw that story on the news.
It could have been more 'informative' and less of a fluff piece, but at lest it was there.
