Does anyone have a list of over the counter meds to avoid that can cause platelet count drops?

Any drug can cause a platelet drop. But just because it can does not mean that it will. Everyone responds differently.

And the bigger problem is avoiding drugs that inhibit platelet aggregation, meaning that they stop the blood from clotting properly. So, unless in remission, avoid aspirin and ibuprofen.

What do you normally take for pain? Originally I was told I could take tylenol but I want to make sure.

I very rarely take anything but if I do it would be paracetamol, which I believe is acetaminophen in the US. Tylenol is a brand name for it in the US.
