Just wanted to let everyone know that my daughter went to the hemo yesterday and after 2 weeks on prednisone her platelet count was 500,000. After the first week they were 120,000 so the dr cut her dose in half and this week they were 500,000. I feel very happy and greatful . Wow - that is one fantastic response! I've been on the PDSA forever and have rarely ever seen counts that high from Prednisone. At least you know what works!
