Hi all...well it has been a while, but just thought i would drop in and see how everyone is going...Trevor has had both of his hips replaced now and 12 months after the last one, he now feels great..it has taken a while but he is now off all pain meds and living the dream. His platelet count has never been pver 10 in the last 8 years, except with the 45 platelet infusions per hip.. :ohmy: but he continues to do wellon Nplate..with no more bleeding noses, spontaneous bleeds etc..life on the farm is a whole lot easier without the crutches he had for 6 years :lol: and yes , we did have the " ceremonial burning of the crutches;..hope all is well and now that i have found the site again , i will pop in and have a read..love to all..Cathy xx
