I wondering if ITP is congenital? My dad and I both have ITP, but the doctors say that it's random. Is it someone which have experiences whit this?

ITP is not hereditary but some thrombocytopenias that get misdiagnosed as ITP are hereditary. They tend not to respond to any of the usual ITP treatments so that gives a clue.

Could be hereditary, could be random. Autoimmune disorders can run in families. Usually, one family member will have one disorder and other family members will have other disorders. Once in a while, a few members end up with ITP which is just coincidence. My sister and I have both had ITP.
