Hi, I've been using Nplate for 3 years, first on a trial and then continuing when it first became available to us. It took me a while to get stable on it but once I did I've been able to self inject at home and just go every 8 weeks for a blood test and prescription. I've also been able to lower the dose as I seemed to get more and more sensitive to it and I'm now on a tiny dose and I'm trying once a fortnight instead of once a week. I've not had any side effects.

As you're in England too, you'll be able to self inject after a few weeks.
