I'm sorry nobody answered you. I haven't seen anyone else here with that problem. How is your ITP? Are you on treatments?

I see you are in the UK too. I'm in London.

I was diagnosed with IIH in 2005, given the "all clear" in 2009 and was recently diagnosed with ITP.

The only thing that could possibly be more annoying than IIH, is ITP.

How is your IIH going? Is/was your platelet count high enough to do a lumbar puncture to check your CSF pressure? I can't imagine the fear of needing a LP WHILE you have ITP... I hope you didn't have to go through that.

Neither my hemo nor neuro-opth seem to think that these conditions are related in any way shape or form. Mostly they've just put me on the alert for medications/treatments irritating the other condition.
For example, there was initial concern that the high doses of prednisone might trigger an increase in CSF but so far, so good! Likewise, I doubt I'll ever have to get an LP with a platelet count under 50! Silver lining???? Maaaaaybe.

If you have any questions about IIH, I'll try to answer them the best that I can. But I hope that you've gotten everything squared away with that, now.
