Reoccurrence

Reoccurrence was created by Rek
I have had ITP for over thirty years and for the most part, had most of the ancient
treatments including prednisone, danazol, vincristine and a spleenectomy.

I have a few relapses over the years as well as a platelet count that skyrocketed to
800K.

My previous relapses did not last very long. It seems as if I am again sliding down
the rabbit hole again since my symptoms Include extreme fatigue and a very sore
stomach.

I really do not know how the ITP is triggered, but I wonder why it is reoccurring
after so many years.

A lot of autoimmune disorders relapse and remit periodically. Just the nature of the beast.

I've never heard of a sore stomach being a symptom of ITP. What do you mean by a sore stomach?

Sorry to hear you are sliding down the rabbit hole again. :( I think there are thousands of things that can trigger ITP with in the air we breathe and the food we eat. The fatigue can be very annoying!!! Are you stressing out over this, wich may be causing your sore stomach?

The only stomach thing I can think of connected with ITP is the helicobacter pylori bacteria. Have you been tested? It just might be the connection.
