Anyone have wierd dreams about ITP? I had a dream last night. I was in to have counts checked. The (new) lab Tech had this unusually long needle that seemed like a 14g needle. She did not tie off my arm and use the "night crawler" that usually appears. She shoved that whole thing in and started "fishing" with it!!!! Pulled it out and tried it in two more spots on my arm. The last attempt I said that REALLY hurt!!!! Why did'nt you tie my arm off and access the vein that is usually used I asked. I thought my whole arm was going to be one big multi colored Bruise!!!!! Not sure if I want her to do it now.
Wierd!!!

Very strange Dean, but made me smile, that's when we know we are seeing far too many medical people, hope your dreams are better.

I haven't had any dreams but I did have some hallucinations once when I was on some pretty strong pain meds that there was a doctor at the side of my bed (I was at home at the time) and there was no way I could get him to leave.

There is no practice run in life.

Hey Milly, glad it made you smile. ;) Wish I would have kept track of all the blood draws. Wow, your Dr. was making house calls. ;) That must have been some pretty strong meds!!
